Flying together to Tokyo to Sydney, we chose to fly on a newer All Nippon Airlines Boeing Dreamliner 787-900 in business class with a 1-2-1 configuration, allowing us to sit close (but not too close!) in the middle row.

The modern place offers plenty of amenities including tint windows, USB chargers, and full universal electrical outlets. The seats are new and plush and of course recline flat. 

Incredible on-board sushi with seared fresh tuna.

Each site features a large high-definition entertainment screen with a wide selection of international and Hollywood movies with plenty of subtitle options. 

But the real highlight of the was the in-flight cuisine. Amuse options included duck terrine with a main course of grilled red sea bream with a soy vinegar sauce. We also enjoyed incredible on-board sushi with seared fresh tuna, IPPUDO ramen, and a few too many desserts!
